This trek is designed as an alternative way for those adventure seekers who do not have enough time for Annapurna Base Camp Trek or Everest Base Camp Trek but still have a desire to witness captivating views of the Himalayas and stunning scenery. 3 Days Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek is a short magical trek that offers majestic views of glorious Mt. Annapurna (8,091 m), Mt. Dhaulagiri (8,167 m), Mt. Machhapuchhre (6,993 m), Mt. Himchuli (6,441 m), Mt. Nilgiri (7,061 m), and many other Himalayan mountains. Along with that, you will get to see lush forests, traditional villages of Gurung and Mager people, and diverse flora & fauna.

Short Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek 3 Days is suitable for anyone with a normal level of physical fitness. You do not need to have previous trekking experience to go on this trek, which means Short Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek is an ideal package for beginner trekkers as well. 

This 3 Days Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek begins from Tikhedhunga after a scenic drive either from Kathmandu or Pokhara. Tikhedhunga is a starting point of our trek, and from here, we will be crossing the streams and waterfalls coming from the glaciers and snowfields high above. Further, the trail will take us through terraced farmlands and dense rhododendron & oak forests. In addition to these trips, we have a final push up to Poon Hill from Ghorepani. After a decent hike from Ghorepani, you will reach Poonhill. From Poon Hill, we can see the amazing views of majestic Annapurna and Dhaulagiri Ranges with a glorious sunrise view over this striking mountains.

Note: To start this trek, the 3 days Annapurna Sunrise View Trek can be organized either way from Kathmandu or Pokhara. If you are willing to start this trek from Pokhara, then you have to meet your guide at Pokhara and drive to Nayapul. However, if you would like to start this trip from Kathmandu with a limited timeframe it’s possible, but then you need to take a flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara and follow as the original trip itinerary.

Detail Itineraries

  • Day 01:Drive from Pokhara to Nayapul then trek to Tikhedung/Ulleri - 4/5 hrs walk approxAfter breakfast, we kick the day off with a short drive to Nayapul by taxi/jeep/ bus, where we'll take the first steps of our trek! from Nayapul we will be following the faithful path which takes us the beautiful Gurung and Magar villages of Hille, Tikhedunga, and Ulleri. after checking our TIMS card and trekking permit at Birethati ( The entry point of Annapurna conservations areas) this is the very first part of our trek. today's a short hike is pleasantly surprise walking through the north bank of the Bhurungdi River to Tikhedunga, From Tikhedunga, we will start climbing for about 45 minutes to get our camp Ulleri, in the evening enjoy the view with the good meals.

    Overnight we will be accommodated at the best possible trekking lodge/ hotel with standards meals including breakfast, lunch, and Dinner ( B+L+D).
  • Day 02:Trek from Tikhedung to Ghorepani - 4/5 hrs walk approxWe are on the set to move towards Ghorepani after breakfast, the pleasant walk of ascending is logically scenic and offers great views of the Machhapuchare and Annapurna south at the same time you will be seeing the gorgeous flowers of rhododendron in flowering season through the lush forest of Magnolia and rhododendron, after a few hours of ascending we will reach Bhanthati where we will be taking a short break for the lunch then final push to Ghorepani for another 2 hours.

    Overnight we will be accommodated at the best possible trekking lodge/ hotel with standards meals including breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner ( B+L+D).
  • Day 03:Hike from Ghorepani to Poon Hill (3210 m- 45 walk) - Hille (5 hrs walk) than Pokhara by taxi/ jeep/ bus 2:30 hrs /19 kmThis day is one of the most exciting days of our whole trip. we kick off early morning with an excursion short hike to the Poon Hill, Poon Hill is located at an elevation of 3210 meters above the sea level, offers an indescribably wonderful panoramic mountain views of Dhaulagiri I, Annapurna I, and Manalsu illuminated by the glowing rays of sunrise. on our short time at Poon Hill, we will greatly be appreciated by this rewarding view of the mighty mountains with a glorious sunrise than we take a step back to Ghorepani, Ulleri, and Hille, From Hille, we will be retracing to Pokhara by Jeep/taxi or bus.

    Overnight we will be accommodated at the best possible trekking lodge/ hotel with standards meals including breakfast, and Lunch ( B+L).

Accommodation during the Trek

Accommodation in Kathmandu, you would be staying at the best hotel basically 3-4 stars, on the twin-sharing basis. But Accommodations in trekking is very basic where you will get the room with pillows, warm and nice blanket, attach bathroom if it’s available with comfortable beds during the Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek 5 Days, if you are single you get single bedroom as well with hygienic food, The Menu for food and accommodation have fixed by local management community.

Passport and Visa

All clients must have a valid passport with at least 6 months prior validity from return date Nepalese visas can be obtained from the immigration office or Consulate in your country or arrival in Kathmandu Airport.

Concerning your desirable interested for any trip with us we even accept the last minute booking. You can book a trip directly by calling or sending a message anytime. But eventually, Last minute booking may not acceptable for Bhutan and Tibet trip.
