    • Annabella Fritz - December 15, 2023

We had a great first trekking trip in Nepal with fantastic views of the Himalayas. As we did the tour at the end of the season we were concerned about the paths or the pass being blocked but we were lucky and had great weather and it was not busy on the treks at all. Everything was well organized throughout the entire tour. We were really happy to have Laxman Gurung as an experienced, knowledgeable and super friendly guide. We learned a lot about the culture and nature of Nepal during nice talks while hiking. He took good care of everything and motivated us when it got more difficult. All in all it was a really good experience and we would love to do another tour with him one day.

I've been trekking the Annapurna Circuit (& Lake Tilicho) in October 2017 with Alpine Ramble and I've only made positive experiences. The trek itself is unbelievable beautiful! The guide that has been with me - Rohit - did a great job in terms of navigation and hospitality (he made sure I had a bed at night and he organized the food, permits, and buses). Moreover, I had the feeling that Rohit was even more enthusiastic about the mountains than I was, which is great! For me, as an enthusiastic trekker, even the low-medium English level from the guide was not a problem at all! Dil, the tour organizer, did a great job in terms of constant communication and making sure that the tour went well! Moreover, Rohit & Dil are both very kind people. All in all, I would certainly recommend hiking with Alpine Ramble.
