#1 Ghandruk Trek

The Ghandruk is the name of a Gurung village in the Annapurna region which is one of the most beautiful and popular villages of Nepal located at an altitude of 1940 meters height above the sea level.

A classic trek into one of the most popular destinations in the heart of Annapurna massif, Ghandruk located in the western part of Nepal, only 24km away from Pokhara.

The trek to beautiful Ghandruk can be done in only 2 days from Pokhara/ Kathmandu.  The journey starts from Pokhara with a short but scenic drive through the dazzling rods of hills to Naipaul. Nayapul is initially starting point and ending point of the trek, From Nayapul, you will take a step towards Ghandruk villages walking through the terraced fields and some of the most beautiful local villages with outstanding mountains views of Annapurna south, Machhapuhhare and many others.

However, the trek from Nayapul to Ghandruk is relatively easy on the flat to gradual climb and it takes about 3-4 hours of walking to getting at the beautiful spot of Ghandruk.

Upon your arrival at Ghandruk, you will be surprisingly rewarded by Spectacular panorama view of the dotted mountains such as Annapurna South, Nilgiri, Himalchuli, Gangapurna, Annapurna III, and Machhapuchhre.

The ancient’s monasteries and Gurung museum are other highlights of the trek and that is not to be missed before retracing back to Pokhara.

#2 Chisopani - Nagarkot Hike

The Chisopani-Nagarkot hike is the best hiking opportunity for those hikers who are keenly desired to hike through the beautiful mountains for 2 days away from the hustle and bustle city. It’s a perfect hike for travelers who are running holidays on a limited time and budget.

This is one of the best and short treks near from Kathmandu valley that takes you to the most beautiful villages of Chispani and Nagarkot by passing through the gorgeous waterfalls, lush forest of pines, rhododendrons, and junipers, beautiful local villages, mane walls, terrace field, flora and vegetations with a spectacular view of the Himalayas.

Chisapani and Nagarkot hike starts with a short drive by private/ local transportations to Sundarijal from Kathmandu, SundariJal is the starting point of the trek, the hike officially by entering into the Shivapuri National park and follow the gradual climb up to Chisapani. The hike from Sundarijal to Chisopani takes about 4-5 hours of walking at a slow and steady pace. Next day morning, you will be enjoying the views and sceneries with breakfast at the hotel and after breakfast, you will be trekking towards the most popular hills of Nagarkot to witness stunning panoramic views of the Himalayas. From Nagarkot, you can take a local bus/ jeep to Kathmandu.

A classic short trek to Sarangkot Australian camp and Dhmapus is one of the best treks that and be done anyone without any trouble and previous trekking experience, it’s a perfect trek even for the beginners and no need to be any worried about any high altitude sickness.

A journey starts right from Nepal’s most beautiful city of Pokhara with a short drive to Sarangkot to watch the glorious sunrise view over the Annapurna Himalayas range with spectacular mountains alongside the fantastic Himalayas of Annapurna range, Dhaulagiri range, Machhapuchhre, ranges, etc.

Sarangkot Hill is a famous place which is located at an altitude of 1600 meters and a 40-minute drive on the northern mound of Pokhara. #4 Poonhill Trek

2 Days Poonhill trek is one of the shortest and easiest trekking routes in Annapurna region that takes you to the most outstanding places of the region, walking through the lush forest of oaks, rhododendrons, ethical sights villages of Birethat, Ulleri, Ghorepani, Terrence fields and a wide verity of flora and fauna.

This trek starts from Pokhara and takes you ultimately to the most popular and fascinating hill of poon hill, Poon hill itself is An amazing hill located at the height of 3210 meters from the sea level. However, you will be amazed by rewarding views of the mountains as well as approaching sunrise view early in the morning; it’s absolutely mind-blowing scenery that you could observe from here at the Poonhill.

An exciting 2 days Poonhill trek is a normal hike and you do not really have to have had any previous trekking experiences to be explored. However, this trek has no risks of getting high altitude sickness since we have made it altitude friendly trekking itinerary adjusting all-ages group of people.

However, we would like to persuade you to avoid taking meat, Alcoholic drinks, and smoking.

Water on trek

The water on a trek is available at every trekking lodges or shopping shops along the way, buying a regular bottle of mineral water costs RS 40-100per litter. every region of Nepal has plenty of water sources to get the water as you can also refill the water from the random taps or water source, refilling waters from any of those sources is potable but it will be fine to drink with a Lifetraw or using the water purification pills.

Accommodation Facts on Annapurna Base Camp Trek 

Accommodations on the mountain are simple in tea hoses/ Trekking Lodges. The rooms come usually in double occupancy with a wooden bed, blankets, mattresses, pillows, attached bathrooms (not everywhere), and the view is spectacular from the rooms of mountain tea houses. Likewise, single rooms are available ( except Himalaya and ABC) and it will be provided for solo female travelers.
