Detail Itineraries

  • Day 01:Flight to Lukla (2810m) and trek to Phakding (2640m) 3/4 hoursToday our day start after having an early morning breakfast at our hotel in Kathmandu then our driver will drop us at the domestic airport and take off about for 35 scenic flights out to Lukla. Upon arrival at Lukla, will be greeted by our staff who will be helping us entirely the trip by carrying luggage, after introducing our crew and having a short delightful tea stop then we start our short trek towards Phkading village, today we only have 4 hours hike today to assist the proper acclimatization. However, there are few interesting places for a side trip, if you are interested then you could visit a nearby monastery and enjoy the riverside. We stay overnight at Lodge.

  • Day 02:Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3450m) 5/6 hoursToday is the second day of our trek; our day will be starting after the breakfast at Hotel, we walk through a beautiful lush forest and typical Sherpa villages along the way. the trail leads us along the bank of the Dudhi Koshi River through many suspension bridges. En route, we will enjoy the wonderful mountain vistas of Thamserku (6618m), Kongde peak, Khumjung peak and many other surrounding green hills. after few hours walking we check in the Sagarmatha National Park head office where we claim and make sure our entrance permit than we continually walk about 20 minutes to Jorsalle for a lunch. after lunch, we will cross the few suspension bridges including the Hillary twin Bridges before we reach in Namche Bazaar. as we ascend towards Namche Bazar we witness the first Mount Everest view from the first Everest view section. reaching Namche we will be able to explore the beautiful town of Namche with a magnificent mountain views around. overnight at lodge.

  • Day 03:Acclimatization day in Namche Bazaar (3450m)Today we have an Acclimatization day at Namche before we head off to the high elevations,

  • Day 04:Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (3864m) 4/5 hours walkAfter breakfast, we trek along the narrow hilltop passing few unique Stupas and level mountain way that offers a brilliant scene of Thamserku, Kusum Kangri, and Kantega. On strolling couple of hours on the flat crisscross route, we go down to the waterway and touch base at Phunki Tenga. Afterward, ascend through Rhododendron woods to the Tengboche. The trail to get to Tengboche, overnight stay at Lodge.

  • Day 05:Tengboche to Dingboche (4360m) 4/5 hours walkToday is our exciting day trek to Dingboche. The journey begins after breakfast and goes through villages of Pangbuche, Somare, and Dingboche. our pleasant and delicate hike follows through the rhododendron forest by Crossing the bridge of Imja Khola, climb past Mani stones that are engraved with the Tibetan Buddhist prayers to Pangboche. Our route proceeds through summer fields to Dingboche. overnight at lodge.

  • Day 06:Aclimatization in Dingboche (4350m)Today we have a rest day at Dingboche, it’s a popular stop for trekkers and climbers headed to Mt. Everest, Ama Dablam or Imja Tse. The village is beautiful with an array of fields enclosed by stone walls to protect barley and potatoes from the cold wind. We spend a day at Dingboche for acclimatization. We take day hikes to either Nagarjuna Hill or Chukkhung Valley for great views of Makalu, Lhotse, Chalotse, Tawache Ama Dablam and many other surrounding snowcapped, overnight at lodge.

  • Day 07:Dingboche to Lobuche (4930m) 4/5 hours walkToday during Himalayan voyage drive for 50-minutes towards North till reaching mani-prayer Stupa. In today's walk enjoy views of the Mt.Tawache and Ama Dablam as well as toward the north-Pokalde (5741m) Kongma-Tse (5820m) along with a great wall of Nuptse. Following two hours of strolling, the trek from Pheriche connects at Dugla (4595m). Then goes specifically up the terminal bridge of the Khumbu Glacier for around 60 minutes. Proceed for an hour up to a lofty hilltop, here you can view Mt. Pumori and other pinnacles of the west of Everest.
    Stay at Teahouse- 6 hrs.

  • Day 08:Trek to Gorakshep - Everest Base Camp (5364m) and back to Gorakshep 6/7 hours walkBegin the trek following the rough moraine way, see icebergs and icy glaciers en-route down underneath of Khumbu glacier. The trek goes by the last rough moraine hills, a short downhill stroll till Gorakshep. Stop here for lunch. The trail is narrow and rocky with the windy atmosphere. Today your dream to reach Everest base camp will get fulfilled. Later, return to Gorekshep.
    Stay at Teahouse- 7 hrs.

  • Day 09:Gorakshep to Kalapathar (5550m) and back to Phiriche (34240m) 5/6 hours walkWake up early morning today then 2hrs climbing-up bring us at Kalapathar on the bottom of Mt. Pumori. From Kalapathar we see the sunrise on the majestic Himalayas in 360º degree including Mt. Everest, Nuptse, Lola, Khumbutse, Ama Table, Tabuchi, Cholatse, Thamserku and numerous other peaks with the excellent views of Everest Base camp and Khumbu glacier. Then have a breakfast after that continue to walk through the moraine of Khumbu glacier and passing Lobuche, we descend back down beautiful valley to Pheritse, Overnight at lodge.

  • Day 10:Phiriche to Namche (3450m) 5/6 hoursToday trek back to Namche, a simpler plummet going through rhododendron woodland. Tengboche is a little town with an acclaimed monastery with the stunning views of Ama Dablam, rivers and green hills. Halted here for lunch. Stay overnight at Namche Bazaar.

Personal Travel Insurance

Health and Fitness requirements 

Everest Base Camp Trek is an exciting and spectacular moderate trekking destination in the world. It’s an exceptional trekking route for travelers who wish to enjoy and explore the Himalayas and beautiful landscape on this planet. This trek basically starts from low land to high land as you are hiking in these areas than you have to be fit both of physically and mentality by yourself. Every day trek prefers about 4/5 hours approx. As you hiking up to the high altitude than you have to prepare by physically and mentality to succeed the trip, our provision is making your trip reliable and remarkable without any problems in every step to step with your wealth health. Our first priority is your safety and security entire the trip. you Should convenience yourself to take some pre-training course of the trek that would be easy, considering some physical exercise like jogging, running, climb stair-case, cycling, swimming and hitting gym etc.

Accommodation during the Trek

Accommodation in Kathmandu, you would be staying at the best hotel basically 3-4 stars, on twin-sharing basis. But Accommodations in trekking is very basic where you will get the room with pillows, warm and nice blanket, attach bathroom if it’s available with comfortable beds during the 12 days Everest base camp trek, if you are single you get single bedroom as well with hygienic food, The Menu for food and accommodation have fixed by local management community.

Passport and Visa

All clients must have a valid passport with at least 6 months prior validity from return date Nepalese visas can be obtained from the immigration office or Consulate in your country or arrival in Kathmandu Airport.

Last minute booking


Concerning your desirable interested for any trip with us we even accept the last minute booking. You can book a trip directly by calling or sending a message anytime. But eventually, Last minute booking may not acceptable for Bhutan and Tibet trip.

Meals and Drinking Water

The Everest base camp trek route has numerous tea houses along the way and every single tea houses has the menu system with different ethnic cuisines foods as well as western meals on the Menu; you could pick up any kinds of a meal as you like to have during the trek, we would highly recommend the vegetable items instead of Meat because meat in the mountain can be effected some time because it may not be used to it for the new travelers in this region. But some places provide you typical Nepali meals which are different types of international meals. These are prepared by the local supplement. Every tourist Lodge has well-trained cook basically attention for clean, hygienic, fresh and nice testy foods. The variety of drinks and every lodge have safe drinking water or minerals bottles of water you could buy. If you buy water purification tablet from Kathmandu you can take water from the tap and purify yourself this will be cheaper and help to control the plastic pollution as well. The water you could buy everywhere in Everest region at the reasonable price but the price would go high when you go to high altitude areas. We also recommend you to buy boiled water instead of cold which keeps your body warm.

Extra personal expenses on trekking

During the trek, all the food are included (Lunch, Breakfast, and Dinner with hot drinks) which will be provided by the company, behind the schedule of our package the meals and accommodations in Kathmandu will have to be arranged by yourself.

Possible Flight Delay in Kathmandu and Lukla: 

Sometime, the flights (To Kathmandu from Lukla) may be cancelled due to the changing in unpredictable weather conditions around in the mountains. In such conditions, we Alpine Ramble Treks kindly request all the travelers to make a plan while putting at least 2/3 possibility spree days for the Everest Chola Paa Trek. In such case, we will charter a Helicopter to secure you are on schedule for your international flight. The helicopter can easily fly up to 1500m visibility.  You will be given cancellation of domestic flights and a receipt upon payment of Helicopter so that you may claim the amount from your travel insurance (Travel insurance is mandatory before joining Everest Base Camp Budget Trek) 

Trekking Equipment

  • Daypack up to 40 liters,

  • Down Jacket, Seasons sleeping bag- the company will give 
  • Sun head or Gulf cap, Sunglasses, Headlamp 
  • Ear-muffs, Sun cream.
  • 1Pair liner gloves thin wool or synthetic.
  • 2/3 Cotton t-shirts 
  • 2Long sleeve polyester 
  • Softshell jacket water & wind resist.

  • Bandana or headscarf, also useful for dusty conditions
  • A warm hat that covers your ears (wool or synthetic)
  • Sunglasses with UV protection
  • Polypropylene shirts (1 half sleeve and 2 long sleeves)
  • Fleece wind-stopper jacket or pullover
  • Waterproof (preferably breathable fabric) shell jacket
  • Down vest and/or jacket
  • 1 pair of lightweight poly-liner gloves.
  • 1 pair of Hiking shorts
  • 1 pair of Hiking trousers
  • 1 pair of fleece or woolen trousers
  • 2 pairs of thin, lightweight inner socks
  • 2 pairs of heavy poly or wool socks
  • 1 pair of Hiking boots with spare laces (sturdy soles, water resistant, ankle support, “broken in”)
  • 1 sleeping bag (good to -10 degrees C or 14 degrees F if going to the higher elevation above 5000m.
  • 1 medium rucksack (50-70 liters/3000-4500 cubic inches, can be used for an airplane carryon)
  • A small daypack/backpack for carrying your valuables should have good shoulder padding
  • 1 pair of mittens, consists of 1 Gore-Tex over mitt matched with a very warm polar-fleece mitt liner (seasonal)

Best Season

Best season for Everest Base Camp Trek is spring (Marc to May) and autumn (September to November) these months are the best months for the Everest base camp trek. The temperature is moderate in these seasons and we guarantee amazing view and breathtaking scenery throughout the trek. If you wish to avoid crowds this trip during in winter (Dec., Jan. and Feb.) could also be the best options.
