Reviews

  • Nayla Aboutara - November 10, 2019

I did my trek with a friend in March 2018 (sorry for this delayed review, just came back from a half year of traveling, which started in Nepal). We did the Poon Hill Trek in the Annapurna and it was truly an amazing experience. Dil welcomed us at the airport and from there on everything worked perfectly, we had one day in Kathmandu, where Dil organized a city trip, which was great. He is also lending you warmer clothes like jackets of you didn't bring it because of space reasons. During the trek everything worked very well with our guide and Porter, they were very friendly, asked us how and when we want to do breaks etc. Dil gave us also suggestions for how to spend the days after the trek and helped us organizing accommodation etc. Back in Kathmandu we came together with other people and did a very nice Dinner out together.

I would definitely recommend to everyone who wants to do trekking in Nepal to contact Dil. Before the trek, he answered us all our questions very fast and reliable via Mail, which was a great help. I'm sure I will come back for another trek and then I'll do it for sure with Alpine Ramble. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!

  • Pradeep D'souza - April 19, 2019

For a while i have been planning my third visit to Nepal and was looking forward to doing the ABC trek, That's when i had come across a friend of mine who had recommended me to Alpine Ramble. Upon contacting Dil, CEO & founder of Alpine Ramble he was very quick with his replies and always at our service. He created a itinerary for us which fits perfectly to our schedule. Upon arrival in Kathmandu we was greeted by dil, along with Lakshman. Over the next few days we had started the trek and was led by the men of the mountains the very experienced, qualified and well trained boys, Ceo/guide - Dil along with Porter/Guide - Lakshman. These boys knew exactly everything about the mountains. They where very informative, motivative, patience and always extremely supportive during the entire course. Over all it was wonderful experience and i would highly recommend Alpine Ramble. Quick Reply, Good Communication, Highly Supporting & Encouraging. A+++++ Looking forward to are next adventure. Thanks & Best Wishes Pradeep D'souza

I have trekked with Dil as guide in Nepal. The first in 2014 was the Annapurna region. It was obvious early that he was an experienced leader, well informed and explaining the trek clearly. He was both caring and considerate. The day I was too crook to walk, he quickly arranged transport with a local jeep. When private space was needed, he provided it. I had no concern about my first ascent above 5000 m with his good advice.
Dil is well informed about Nepal. He is from a mountain village and loves showing others the majesty of the Himalaya. He communicates well, is friendly and fun. At the start of both walks, he said that we will walk as a family. We did, but quickly became good friends.
Next time in Nepal, I will walk with Dil and his team.
