Upper Mustang trek starts from Jomsom after a scenic flight from Pokhara. The trail follows the Kaligandaki River valley with fascinating views of Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri, Bhirkuti, Damodar, and Mustang Himal including views of Annapurna range. Detail Itineraries

  • Day 01:Arrival at Kathmandu 1350m/4428ft.Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International airport, you’ll be received by our official representative then transfer to hotel,Overnight at hotel.
  • Day 02:Kathmandu valley sightseeing. Today is a day to explore the beautiful Kathmandu valley. Our tour guide will take into the Kathmandu valley for sightseeing. Where you will visit: Pashupatinath Temple, Bauddhanath Stupa and Bhaktapur Durbar-square, Overnight at Hotel.

  • Day 03:Fly to Jomsom and 4hrs trek to Kagbeni 2900m/9512ft.We have scenic 25minute flight to Jomsom. Upon arrivel at Jomsom, the scene dramatically changes and seen plateau with giant mountain at both side. We walk along the bank of Kaligandaki River. Passing some villages is among the Buddhist relic, mani walls, monetary with wide view of arid and mountains. Some time you find a fossil on your path. overnight at lodge.

  • Day 04:Trek to Chele 3100m/10168ft- 5hrs. Today the trail goes along the bank of Kali Gandaki river slight climb up and easy level walk on the flat. As we continues trek on the Kali Gandaki river we walk through the ancient stupas, caves on cliff ascends to Chele, overnight at lodge.

  • Day 05:Trek to Shyangboche 3800m/12465ft- 5hrs. We ascend up on the arid from Chele village, passing through Chele and barren meadows, you see monastery and yak along the way. we continues trek to switch-back climbing on the aok trees, with splendid view of high Himalayan mountains range, high plateau to Yamdo La Pass, overnight at lodge.

  • Day 06:Trek to Ghami 3510m/11510ft- 4hrs. Our trek starts gentle climb up to ridge of the Syangboche, and walking through animals shed, crossing the tea shops at Jhaite. It offers the wild Jackal around this plateau. We gradually climb up to Nyi La Pass and then after descend to Ghami, overnight at lodge.

  • Day 07:Trek to Charang 3560m/11675ft- 5hrs. Today trek starts after breakfast we walk on the down village and crossing Ghami khola the trail climbs up to pass the Hospital, Greenhouse, then perhaps this is the longest and greatest Mani wall in Nepal it takes a look at grey and red cliffs, the trail climbs up to Choya La pass (3870m/12693ft) the route leads you gentle descend to Tsarang village and then visit the huge five storey dozen and Monastery and then apple orchid, overnight at lodge.

  • Day 08:Trek to Lo Mangthang(3950m/12628ft) 4rs. Trek descent to Charang chu Canyon then trek will continue with great views of mountain and barren plateau, gradually climbing up to reach at ridge from here we see the view of the walled city of Lo with dry hill on the Tibet borders, before we are leaving from this village don't forget to buy the beautiful Souvenir, they claim brought from Lhasa, Tibet, overnight at lodge.

  • Day 09:Explore the nearby the Lo manthang 3950m/12135ft- 5hrs Trek. Today we are going to explore the nearby eye-catching places such as John Cave- which is situated at rock inside the cave there are many participate rooms, Chhosar Gompa- is inside the cave and covered by slope mountain, Namgyal Gompa- is situated at a hilltop and play as an important role for local people, Ani Gompa- nuns look after then Gompa and nuns do the all rituals. After then walk back to Lo manthang,overnight at lodge.

  • Day 10:Trek to Drakmar 3830m/12465ft- 6hrs. We trek on the upper trail while trekking we will see the blue sheep and some other wild animals on the way and see the magnificent views of the Majestic Himalaya's, the trail lead you on level with delight walk to see the views after that descend through the wind trees to Ghar Gompa, this Gompa is related with Samye monastery in Lhasa Tibet, then trek descend continues to Drakmar, overnight at lodge.

  • Day 11:Trek to Chele 3100m/10165ft- 5hrs. we descends to Ghami village then ascend up to Nyi La pass then descend again to pass through the Jhaite and Syangboche then we have small climb to Yamdo La pass, the trail goes through oak trees on the pasture to Samare then heading down to Chele, overnight at lodge.

  • Day 12:Trek to Jomsom 2800m/9185ft- 6hrs. Today we leave here an early because of we have quite long day descend, we walk through follow the river pass the Chusang, to Tangbe. After that shortly climb u. then easy level trial, overnight at lodge.

  • Day 13:Jomsom – Pokhara 25 minute by flight. Today we have scenic flight back to Pokhara by tiny airplane, this flight expose amazing Himalayan mountain views entire your flight in Pokhara,overnight at hotel.

  • Day 14:Pokhara – Kathmandu 7hrs by drive by tourists bus.A scenic drive from Pokhara to Kathamndu will takes 7hrs or in optional you will fly from Pokhara to Kathmandu. At Kathamndu you will have free time for shopping souvenirs for family and friends,

Upper Mustang trek is moderate trekking destination for every trekker who loves to enjoy and explore the beautiful landscape on this planet. This trek basically starts from low land to high land as you are hiking in these areas than you have to fit yourself. We mainly concern your physical fitness to complete the journey.  The everyday trek prefers 4/5 hours in daylight. As you hiking up to the high altitude than you have to prepared by physically and mentality to be succeeding the trip, our provision is making your trip reliable and remarkable without any problems in every step to steps with your wealth health. Our first priority is safety for your entire trip. you Should convenience yourself to take some pre-training course of the trek which could be a great help you, considering some physical exercise like jogging, running, climb stair-case, cycling, swimming and hitting gym etc.

Passport and Visa

Every client must have a veiled passport from return date with at 6-month prior validity in Nepalese consulate in your country or immigration office Tribhuvan airport in Kathmandu.

Meals and Drinking Water

In popular trekking areas like Annapurna, Everest, Langtang, and Manaslu have the menu system with different ethnic cuisines foods as well as western meals you can see on the Menu, you could pick up any kinds of the meal as you like to eat from the Menu. But some places provide you typical Nepali meals which are different types of international meals. These are prepared by the local supplement. Every tourist Lodge has well-trained cook basically attention for clean, hygienic, fresh and nice testy foods. We can even enjoy hot chocolates; a variety of pieces of bread, variety of drinks, and every lodge have safe drinking water or minerals bottles of water you could buy there. If you buy water purification tablet from Kathmandu you can take water from the tap and purify by yourself this will be cheaper and controlled by plastic pollution as well.
