10 Days Everest base camp trek enthrals everyone as it is, in fact,  a trip of a lifetime. Everest base camp trek is one of the most popular and spectacular trekking destinations in the world, where you would want to be at least once in a lifetime.  It’s a trek to the base camp of world’s highest mountain which offers one of the world’s most spectacular mountain scenery surrounded by the picturesque views of Mt. Everest, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Cho-Oyu and Mt. Makalu which are the six magnificent mountains standing at over eight thousand meters high.

The starting point of Everest Base Camp Trek 

One of the most beautiful Journeys to Everest Base camp starts from Lukla with a scenic mountain flight from Kathmandu. As we start walking through the beautiful valley, it provides us many spectacular views as we walk at higher up the valley. After crossing NamcheBazar, we make our ascent towards Tengboche.  It is the home of the world’s most famous monastery situated at 3900metres above sea level this place is amazing for its views, we can see such as glorious and pristine backdrop of Mt.Everest, Lhotse, and AmaDablam from this point. The trails continue leading us to close to the massive Khumbu icefall.

Detail Itineraries

  • Day 01:Fly Kathmandu/Lukla (2610m) and 3hrs trek to Phakding (2810m).After taking early morning breakfast we take a taxi to domestic airport to fly up Lukla (2610m), as we landed at Lukla we are now in the land of Sherpa; we meet and introduce our crew at Lukla who will carry your luggage's entire the trip then we start trekking following bank of the Dudkosi river to Phkading village which is small Sherpa town stay overnight at lodge.

  • Day 02:Trek to Namche 3,450m/11,315ft- 6hrs.Today we head off from Phakding than after the scenic trail will continue along Dudhkoshi River, we are ascending through rhododendron, giant fir, Himalayan pine and cedar forest viewing first beautiful mountain of Kusum kangaroo and Thamserku. The trail is blooming. We cross the high suspension bridges and then we are while climbing through the dense forest than pass the viewpoint where we can see first Mt. Everest view. As you arrive Namche Bazaar a town with set in an arena with seeing beautiful mountains surrounding the town. In afternoon go to the market area lively scene to explore, Overnight at lodge.

  • Day 03:Trek to Tengboche 3,860m/12,677ft- 4/5hrs.We continue trekking up hills the trail leads towards through Namche with the view of the landscape and snow-capped mountains. Then we drop down to cross the Dudkoshi river than we will ascent again right cross the river through suspension bridge steep ascending start to walk through into the rhododendron forest to Tengboche Monastery at the end top. This is one of the spiritual vital carrying Buddhist monasteries in Khumbu region and an evening or in the morning watch fantastic sunset or sunrise over the panoramic mountain, overnight at lodge.

  • Day 04:Trek to Dingboche 4,410m/14,485ft- 4/5hrs.We continue trekking up hills the trail leads towards through Namche with the view of the landscape and snow-capped mountains. Then we drop down to cross the Dudkoshi river than we will ascent again right cross the river through suspension bridge steep ascending start to walk through into the rhododendron forest to Tengboche Monastery at the end top.   • Day 05:Trek to Lobuche 4,910m/16,105ft- 4hrs.Today morning we pray in Monastery before we have breakfast after back we will have beautiful breakfast with seeing the sunrise on Mt. Everest and surrounding peaks. Then we head off descending through jungle some time spotting the musk deer, mountain gout and monkeys on the way, then cross the Imja Khola whose valley now we follow ascending steadily to reach Pangboche. Then the trail goes through a Yak pasture known as Somare then now we are leaving trees behind us and cross a wooden bridge at the confluence of Khumbu Khola and Imja Khola. The trail continues a short climb up brings us to Dingboche. Perhaps today most is interesting trek day because of incredible Ama Dablam and Mt. Everest.Overnight at lodge.

  • Day 06:Trek to Everest Base Camp and back to Gorkshep 5,185m/17010ft- 4hrs.Today is the most exciting and long-awaited day. Leaving from Lubuche the trail leads flat meadow for while then following the Khumbu Glacier northwards and short climbing up. Then the trail climbs onto the lateral moraine of the Khumbu Glacier to Gorak Shep. The path provides the superb view of massive Khumbu Glacier and trans-Himalayas. Upon our arrival at Gorak Shep check in the room then after lunch we walk to Everest Base Camp. The trail continues on the moraine of Khumbu glacier and path often change on the season because of melting of the glacier. Once we reach Base Camp, we take a photograph then retracing to Gorakshep.Overnight at lodge.

  • Day 07:Hike to Kalapather 5,545m/18,187ft – Pariche 4,250m/13,940ft- 5hrs.Wake up early morning today then 2hrs climbing-up bring us at Kalapathar on the bottom of Mt. Pumori. From Kalapathar we see the sunrise on the majestic Himalayas in 360º degree including Mt. Everest, Nuptse, Lola, Khumbutse, Ama Table, Tabuchi, Cholatse, Thamserku and numerous other peaks with the excellent views of Everest Base camp and Khumbu glacier. Then have a breakfast after that continue to walk through the moraine of Khumbu glacier and passing Lobuche, we descend back down beautiful valley to Pheritse, Overnight at lodge.

  • Day 08:Trek to Namche 3,450/11,315 ft 6hrs.The trail leads descending passes through the beautiful Sherpa villages and we get the bank into Dudkosi River then after cross the river trail goes in the forest via Dingboche after that climbing up to Tengboche. Then descending through the rhododendron forest cross the river continues to walk up to Kanjuma then easy walk with great views of Ama Table to Namche Bazaar, Overnight at lodge.

  • Day 09:Trek to Lukla 2,850m/9,350ft- 6hrs.We go through Namche village then descend in the forest to Jors sale. The trek continues goes along the Dudh Koshi River, passing the small village on the way then to the small mountain airstrip at Lukla.Overnight at lodge.

  • Day 10:Fly Lukla/Kathmandu 35minutes.Today we have the scenic flight back to Kathmandu, Upon arrival at Kathmandu. And drive to the hotel. Then take a rest or shopping for family and friends. We have a farewell dinner at Thamel, overnight at hotel.

Health and Fitness requirement

Everest Base Camp Trek is an exciting and spectacular trekking destination in the world. It’s an exceptional trekking route for travelers who wish to enjoy and explore the Himalayas and beautiful landscape on this planet. This trek basically starts from low land to high land as you are hiking in these areas than you have to be fit yourself. We mainly concern your physical fitness to complete the journey without any hassle.  Every day trek prefers about 4/5 hours in daylight. As you hiking up to the high altitude than you have to prepare by physically and mentality to be succeeding the trip, our provision is making your trip reliable and remarkable without any problems in every step to step with your wealth health. Our first priority is your safety and security entire the trip. you Should convenience yourself to take some pre-training course of the trek that would be easy, considering some physical exercise like jogging, running, climb stair-case, cycling, swimming and hitting gym etc.

Accommodation during the Trek

Accommodation in Kathmandu, you would be staying in best hotel basically on 3 stars, in twin-sharing basis. But Accommodations in trekking is simple and comfortable beds room with sharing a room, if you are single you get single bedroom as well with hygienic food, The Menu for food and accommodation have fixed by local management community.

Passport and Visa

Every client must have a veiled passport from return date with at 6-month prior validity in Nepalese consulate in your country or immigration office Tribhuvan airport in Kathmandu.

Meals and Drinking Water

In popular trekking areas like Annapurna, Everest, Langtang, and Manaslu have the menu system with different ethnic cuisines foods as well as western meals on the Menu; you could pick up any kinds of a meal as you like to have. But some places provide you typical Nepali meals which are different types of international meals. These are prepared by the local supplement. Every tourist Lodge has well-trained cook basically attention for clean, hygienic, fresh and nice testy foods. you even take hot chocolates; the variety of loaves of bread, variety of drinks, and every lodge have safe drinking water or minerals bottles of water you could buy. If you buy water purification tablet from Kathmandu you can take water from the tap and purify by yourself this will be cheaper and help to control the plastic pollution as well.

b. Imodium or Pepto Bismo capsules for upset stomach or diarrhea. 
c. Diamox for altitude sickness. A guide will help you to take it.
d. 1Small personal sized first-aid kit with blister treatments such as moleskin, bands, Anti-infection ointments, etc. First Aid Kits.

Best Season of the year

Best season is in spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November) these months are the best time for this trip. The weather will be sunny and warm with outstanding scenery view. If you wish to avoid crowds this trip during in winter (Dec., Jan. and Feb.) could also be the best options.
