Kopra Ridge Trek is one of the exotic short trekking routes in Annapurna region which is located away from very busier and crowded trails but provides same remarkable views of the Himalayas including excellent panoramic mountain views of Annapurna I, Annapurna II, Annapurna III, and Annapurna south, Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri, Himchuli and many other peaks. Detail Itineraries

  • Day 01:upon arrival in Kathmandu airport and transfer to hotel.Upon your arrival in Kathmandu airport then you will be picked by our representative team than transfer to hotel, overnight stay at the hotel.

  • Day 02:Drive to Pokhara by tourist bus (7/8 hours), overnight at hotel.Today we have early breakfast in the morning at our hotel than we start walking about 5 minutes to bus station then after we take a bus ride to Pokhara, a scenic drive on the Prithvi high way to Pokhara makes our journey more fabulous while seeing the beautiful white water rafting in Trisuli River.

  • Day 03:Pokhara to Nayapul by taxi (1hours drive) than 3 ¾ hours trek to Tikhedunga, overnight at lodge.Our trekking starts today from Nayapul after an hour drive again through the beautiful hills from our hotel Pokhara. This trek basically starts from here onwards as we following the routes; the trail leads us eventually outstanding green views with magnificent mountain range along the way. After hiking few hours short trip today than we reach to Tikhedunga which is small but gorgeous town lies on the riverside, overnight we stay at the lodge with beautiful traditional meals.

  • Day 04:Trek to Ghorepani (2640m- 4/5 hours walk), overnight at lodge.Today we ascent more than 900 meters to Ghorepani, our hiking will be started as we finished morning breakfast at the lodge, while after having breakfast then we start gently climb on the hills to Ulleri which is situated at 2350 meters mainly this village is Magar settlement and place lies on the top of the hills the place was surrounded by green valley. And this is a place of the first viewpoint of Annapurna and Machhapuchhare himal. The really cool place to have the tea break and enjoy the scenery after beautiful tea stopped than our journey follows continually towards Ghorepani walking through the rainforest and beautiful nature. As we reach Ghorepani we have entered the check post to check ACAP permits and TIMS cards than we enjoy the view from our lodge. Ghorepani is one of the best viewpoints to see the whole range of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri.

  • Day 05:Trek to Swanta (2270m-3/4 hours walk), overnight at lodge.Today we will be descending through the beautiful mixed forest of rhododendron trees, Himalayan oak, and pine. After almost about 3 hours down the hill, we reach a small river, which we continue to follow leisurely downhill Swanta (2,200 m), overnight we stay at the lodge with beautiful traditional meals.

  • Day 06:Trek to Dhan Kharka (3020m-4/5 hours walk), overnight at lodge.Our beautiful day will start after having breakfast in the early morning with the glorious sunrise view, today's hike is worth the climb to the popular lookout mountain Poon Hill. The comprehensive view extends from Dhaulagiri peak in the west and Tukuche over the Kali Gandaki valley, Nilgiri, Annapurna I, Annapurna South, Machhapuchare, Annapurna IV and II and Lamjung Himal to the Manaslu massif in the east.

  • Day 07:Trek to Kopra Dada (3620m- 3/4 hours walk), overnight at lodge.Today is our one of the exciting days to explore Annapurna and Dhaulagiri massif, our journey will begin after having breakfast at the lodge. Today's our trekking trail leads us to a short descent along a mountain slope to the foothills of the nearly 8,000 m high Bara Shikar. Finally, we reach Kopra Danda ( Danda = open ridge ) to 3,660 m. This opens up a breathtaking 360-degree view, overnight we stay at the tea house.

  • Day 08:Trek to Bayeli (4520m- 5/6 hours walk), overnight at lodge.We leave the main path and head into the deep, almost untouched Rhododendron mixed forest. Little over-committed paths it goes slowly uphill. The forest thins to approximately 3,100 m elevation and the path leading out into open grassland. For our lunch break, we are looking for a nice place with good views. Then it continues uphill through the forest and over pastures to the pasture Dobato. Here you can shepherd down with their livestock in the summer. In Sumphul Danda (3,400 m) we reach a pass that gives us an uninterrupted view of the western mountains of Dhaulagiri, the Nilgiri mountains and the Annapurna massif to Machhapuchare in the east. After a short descent, it's another hour along the ridge (3,500 m) to our simple accommodation on the Bayeli Alm (3,400 m). This “Community Lodge " is managed jointly by the inhabitants of the surrounding villages.
  • Day 09:Trek to Tadapani (2830m- 7/8 hours walk, overnight at lodge.With great views of mountains, morning walk continues downhill into the forest of rhododendron, oak, and magnolia, then reaching the main trekking route at Tadapani, overnight in the comfort of the nice and cosy lodge, and enjoy the beautiful sunset on the top of Annapurna south and fishtail mountains.

  • Day 10:Trek to Nayapul and drive back to Pokhara (4 hours walk than 1 hours drive), overnight at hotel.today is as you reach Ghandruk after the short and wonderful walk from Trapani you will see a Gurung traditional museum at Ghandruk, Ghandruk is one of the best destinations for domestic or international tourists so many travellers visit here to see the ethnic culture and traditional. The place still provides us beautiful landscape and awesome mountains view with Annapurna south, Nilgiri, Machhapuchre, and Annapurna II, the journey continues to descend to Nayapul gradually downhills and flat on sometimes. As we reach Nayapul the private vehicle will be waiting for you to drop you at the hotel.

  • Day 11:Drive back to kathamndu by Delux tourist bus (200km-7/8 hours drive), overnight at hotel.A scenic drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu will take between 7/8hrs or in optional we will fly from Pokhara to Kathmandu. At Kathmandu, you will have free time for shopping souvenirs for family and friends.

Health and Fitness requirement

Kopra Ridge trek is moderate trekking destination for every trekker who loves to enjoy and explore the beautiful landscape on this planet. This trek basically starts from low land to high land as you are hiking in these areas than you have to fit yourself. We mainly concern your physical fitness to complete the journey.   The everyday trek prefers 4/5 hours in daylight. As you hiking up to the high altitude than you have to prepared by physically and mentality to be succeeding the trip, our provision is making your trip reliable and remarkable without any problems in every step to steps with your wealth health. Our first priority is safety for your entire trip. you Should convenience yourself to take some pre-training course of the trek which could be greatly helped you, considering some physical exercise like jogging, running, climb stair-case, cycling, swimming and hitting gym etc.

Accommodation in Kathmandu, you would be staying in the best hotel basically on 3 stars, on a twin-sharing basis. But Accommodations in trekking  is simple and comfortable beds room with sharing two persons sometime  if you are single you get single bedroom as well with hygienic food, Every trekking routes have fixed menu and hotel system by local management community at in an area

Passport and Visa

Every client must have a veiled passport from return date with at 6-month prior validity in Nepalese consulate in your country or immigration office Tribhuvan airport in Kathmandu.

Meals and Drinking Water

In popular trekking areas like Annapurna, Everest, Langtang, and Manaslu have a menu system with different ethnic cuisines foods as well as western meals you can see on the Menu, you could pick up any kinds of the meal as you like to eat from the Menu. But some places provide you with typical Nepali meals which are different types of international meals. These are prepared by the local supplement. Every tourist Lodge has well-trained cook basically attention for clean, hygienic, fresh and nice testy foods. We can even enjoy hot chocolates; a variety of pieces of bread, a variety of drinks, and every lodge have safe drinking water or minerals bottles of water you could buy there. If you buy a water purification tablet from Kathmandu you can take water from the tap and purify by yourself this will be cheaper and controlled by plastic pollution as well.
