Climate and Temperature in November for ABC Trek

November is the best month for hiking in the Annapurna region. During this month, most of the sky is apparent, and the weather is pleasant and preferable for hiking with no rain. Even with no clouds in the sky, the temperature is very comfortable as well; at an altitude between 900 meters and 3000 meters, the temperature range goes around 17- 20 degrees Celsius in the daytime, and at night time, the temperature drops down to -0 degrees Celsius, it's perfect weather and absolutely an excellent time for backpacking and the trip to Nepal where you can enjoy more with the mesmerizing views of Annapurna Himalayas and landscape in the clear day.

Annapurna base camp trekking Itinerary 

Day 01:Arrival at Kathmandu 1350 m/4428 ft.

You will be greeted by our official representative at the airport and transported to your hotel in Thamel. In this tourist place, you could walk through after refreshments in the evening to prepare some extra stuff for your trip, and buying stuff can be managed Overnight at the hotel. 
 

Day 02: Kathmandu – Pokhara 850m/2788ft- 7hrs drive.

We take an early morning scenic drive by tourist bus from Kathmandu to Pokhara through the Prithvi highway. Reaching Pokhara, we walk around the beautiful tourist town in lakeside areas and overnight at the hotel. 
 

Day 03:Drive Pokhara/Nayapool for 1 hr & trek to Ghandruk (1940m), 4/5 Hrs Walk, overnight at lodge.

After breakfast, we took a taxi from our hotel to Nayapul, about a 1-hour drive, then a few hour's treks to Ghandruk, the largest Gurung settlement of the Annapurna region, where we could explore tradition and local lifestyle. Service Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and Lodge. 

Day 04: Trek to Chhomrong (2170m)- 5/6 hrs walk, overnight at lodge.

Our day starts after a cup of tea with mountain breakfast in the morning; today, we ascend about an hour to the Ghandruk top and a steep descent to Kimron Khola(River), and climb up to Chhomrong with the outstanding view of Annapurna south, Machhapuchare (Fishtail) Himchuli and Nilgiri on our way to Chhomrong village. We stay overnight here; Chhomrong is a great place to have one more extra day if you have time. It is a fantastic place to observe the Mountain View and experience the local lifestyle; it's situated on the lap of the mighty Annapurna South. 

Day 05: Trek to Himalayan Hotel (2920m)- 6/7 hrs walk, overnight at lodge.

Today, we have an exciting day to walk through the lush forest over stone steps across Chhomrong Khola and then uphill through the bamboo and rhododendron forest to the village of Bambo and Doban; we take our lunch somewhere before reaching Himalaya; the trails follow continually upwards Modi river and water streaming section in a jungle area, as we reach Himalaya, we set up our sleeping bags and down jacket while resting here because it's quite a cool place, we stay Overnight at Lodge. 


Day 06: Trek to Annapurna Base Camp (4130m) via Machhapuchchhre Base Camp (3720m) 5/6 hrs walk, overnight at lodge.

After some good breakfast with hot tea, our journey starts towards Machhapuchare base camp; we walk through the narrow gorge of Modi Khola glacier valley past the base of Machhapuchhre, which ultimately takes us to Annapurna base camp. Walking in this area, we will get an excellent chance to see the Annapurna glacier very close. As we ascend continually, we see a breathtaking view of surrounding peaks with a panoramic mountain view on a backdrop; reaching Annapurna base camp, we can't believe it while visiting a 360-degree view from Hiunchuli, past Annapurna South to Annapurna I (8,097m/26,566ft) and Khangsar Kang, Gangapurna, Annapurna III and Machhapuchhare. We spent overnight here at Annapurna base camp. 


Day 07: Trek to Bamboo (2,340 m) 6/7 hrs walk, overnight at lodge.

Today, after having some snaps and pictures at base camp, we enjoyed having a mountain breakfast at our lodge with a stunning sunrise view over the top of the Himalayas. Eventually, we trek down to Bamboo following the same trekking trail. We stayed overnight at Bambo.
 

Day 08:Trek to Jhinu Danda (Hot Spring) (1755m) 5/6 hrs walk, Overnight at lodge.

After breakfast at Bambo, we trek to Chomrung following the same path we followed while trekking up to Base Camp. Walkthrough the jungle while climbing up and down the valley, crossing the beautiful Gurung village of Sinuw, and eventually going down from Sinuwa to River. Then, we cross the suspension bridge and start to climb up. After finishing our climbing a few steps, we take a lunch break at Chhomrong village with sensational Mountain View of Annapurna south and Machhapuchare again. After lunch, we continued descending to Jhinu's Dada. We walked 30 minutes down to a Hot spring place, returned to our hotel at Jinu Dada, and spent overnight there with good meals. 

Day 09: Trek to Nayapul (1050m/) 4/ 5 hrs walk and 1 hrs Drive to Pokhara (820m), overnight at hotel.

Today is our last day of trekking. It's a short trek down to Nayapool, and we take our taxi to Pokhara and spend the overnight at the hotel.

Day 10: Drive to Kathmandu (1400m) by tourist bus. 7/8 hrs

After breakfast at the hotel, our driver dropped us at the tourist bus station, and we took a tourist bus to Kathmandu, including WIFI, a battery recharge spot, and drinking water services. On the bus, we stopped several times for the toilet and lunch on the way to Kathmandu. Reaching Kathmandu, we rested well and refreshed; then, it was time to celebrate our completed eight days of Annapurna base camp with the group while having our farewell dinner at the excellent restaurant at Thamel. 
 

Accommodation during the Trek

Accommodation during the trek, basically room, is fundamental. You will get a room with pillows, a warm and friendly blanket, and an attached bathroom, if it's available, with comfortable beds during the ten days of the Annapurna base camp trek; if you are single, you get a single bedroom as well with hygienic food; the Menu for food and accommodation have fixed by local management community.

What Kind of Food to Expect During The Trek

The Annapurna base camp trek route has numerous tea houses along the way, and every single tea house has a menu system with different ethnic cuisines foods as well as western meals on the Menu; you could pick up any meal you like to have during the trek, we would highly recommend the vegetable items instead of Meat because the Meat in the mountain can be effeminate some time. After all, it may not be used to it for the new travelers in this region. But some places provide you with typical Nepali meals, which are different international meals.
