Nepal - solo travel of Kathmandu, Pokhara, and Chitwan

I was referred to Alpine Ramble Treks by my sister. The owner Dil was absolutely fantastic. It all started over email to plan the itinerary. He was very quick with responding and communicated very well and answered all my queries.

Touchdown Kathmandu and I was greeted by the hospitable team with a garland. We then went to the hotel and Dil went out of his way to ensure everything was good and as per expectations. The two days in Kathmandu was spent in visiting the various temples and Dil made sure I was safe and taken care of (as a solo traveler!).

We then traveled to Pokhara where the arrangements were made for everything - hotels, taxis, paragliding, boating and Phewa Lake, visits to the stupas and Sarangot for a sunrise trek. Everything went very smoothly with all the tours being exactly on time.

After a few days in Pokhara, we went to Chitwan where I was greeted by another team member of Alpine Ramble Treks. I was taken to my hotel and spent a couple of days there. I then went back to Kathmandu for the last day where we went exploring the local markets before flying back home.

The whole trip was so well planned and more importantly, executed perfectly. The knowledgeable and friendly team makes it even easier and more enjoyable. I hope to visit Nepal next year again and do the Everest Base Camp trek and will definitely go with Alpine Ramble Treks.

I recommend Alpine Ramble Treks to anyone traveling to Nepal, be it family, friends, business or solo. They are extremely friendly, accommodating, knowledgeable and hospitable and will certainly go out of their way to ensure you have the best experience in Nepal.
